Summary:
Through this Request for Proposals, the Regional District of Central Okanagan invites Proposals for
maintenance work on four steel truss pedestrian bridges, as detailed further in Division 1 of this RFP.
Three of the bridges provide passage over Mission Creek along the Mission Creek Greenway in Kelowna.
The fourth bridge spans over Powers Creek, in Glen Canyon Regional Park, West Kelowna. The work
involved on each bridge includes: repainting the steel structure, replacing the wooden deck boards and
handrails, and replacing the bearing pads. Special care is required to ensure no paint, sawdust or debris
enters the water bodies below.

Schedule: The Regional District has a preference for Substantial Performance of all Work to be achieved
by September 30th, 2020.

Maximum Budget: The Regional District has a maximum budget of $ 150,000 (excluding GST) for all
Work specified in this RFP. The Total Stipulated Price submitted in Proposals to this RFP must be equal
to or less than this maximum budget figure.
