SUMMARY: Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the Regional District of Central Okanagan (the “District” or “Owner”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced companies, interested in performing work to upgrade the existing space heating/cooling system serving the Robert Hobson Environmental Education Centre for the Okanagan (EECO) with a new gas absorption heat pump (GAHP) system. Full details of the Work required is provided in the Division 01 Specifications, plus the Contract Drawings in Exhibit A of this RFP. A summary of the Work is as follows: Location: The Place of the Work is the Robert Hobson Environmental Education Centre for the Okanagan (EECO), located at 2363A Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC., as shown on the Drawings. Maximum Budget: The District is not stating a maximum budget for this Work. Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work: • The Work may commence anytime after: September 30, 2025 • The Work must be Ready-For-Takeover no later than: November 28, 2025 Form of Contract: The Form of Contract to be executed between the District and the Contractor for the Work will be the CCDC2 – 2020 Stipulated Price Contract, as modified by Supplementary Conditions.
