SUMMARY:

Through this Request for Proposals, the Regional District of Central Okanagan invites Proposals from suppliers of park furniture items to become the District’s preferred supplier(s) of some or all ‘Lots’ of the park furniture items listed below, for use in the Regional District’s Regional Park network located throughout the Central Okanagan of BC.  The purpose of this RFP is to select one preferred supplier for each ‘Lot’ that will enter into a ‘Standing Offer’ agreement with the District for the supply of the furniture items in that Lot, on an ‘if, as and when required’ basis, over the next 3 years.  The Standing Offer Agreement(s) is scheduled to commence on July 2, 2022. 

The ’Lots’ of Park Furniture covered in this RFP are as follows:

1. Lot A – Park Benches
2. Lot B – Picnic Tables
3. Lot C – Garbage & Recycling Receptacles
4. Lot D – Bike Racks
5. Lot E – Bike Repair Station
6. Lot F – Water Fountain / Bottle Filler
7. Lot G – Plastic Bollards
8. Lot H – Plastic Sign Posts

Respondent should note that the Regional District is specifically requesting proposals to this RFP which propose park furniture items offering environmentally sustainable benefits such as the use of recycled materials or content.  Part B of this RFP provides further detail on how proposals will be evaluated.

There will be no minimum or guaranteed quantity of park furniture items ordered under any Lot.
