Summary:

Through this Request for Proposals, the Regional District of Central Okanagan invites Proposals from organizations experienced in maintenance and inspection of municipal fire hydrants, to perform its annual fire hydrant maintenance program over the next three years for the 153 hydrants across its 7 water systems .  The initial 3-year contract may be extended for a further 3-years, allowing for a potential total 6 calendar-year contract term resulting from this RFP.

Timeline:  Each year, the annual maintenance program must be completed between September 15 and October 31.  For 2023, 107 hydrants must receive full inspection and maintenance service before October 31, 2023, with a further 46 receiving an ‘Inspection & Lube’ Service.
