SUMMARY

Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the Regional District of Central Okanagan (the “District”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified and experienced companies, interested in performing the following works:

  • Area 1 Bertram Creek Viewing Platform Guardrail Replacement: replacement of the guardrail surrounding the viewing/fishing platform of the pier at Bertram Creek Regional Park, Lakeshore Road, Kelowna.  The Work may commence anytime, with Substantial Performance completed no later than September 30, 2024.
  • Area 2 Kokanee Bridge Guardrail Replacement: replacement of the guardrail plus associated concrete repairs on the Kokanee Bridge (a pedestrian bridge at Mission Creek Regional Park, Springfield Rd, Kelowna). The Work may commence anytime, however Substantial Performance must be completed no later than June 28, 2024.

All Works for both sites will be executed as one combined contract. 

Form of Contract: The Work will be performed using the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Edition Unit Price Contract, together with supplementary conditions.
