SummaryThrough this Request for Proposals, the Regional District of
Central Okanagan invites Proposals from companies to provide services for the
receipt and processing of a portion of the Biosolids generated at the Regional
District’s Westside Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant located in West Kelowna,
BC. Services to be provided under the
contract resulting from this RFP will be the receipt and processing/disposal of
biosolids only. Hauling and carriage of
biosolids from the Regional District’s plant to the processing location will be
provided by the Regional District through a third-party hauling contractor.
The Biosolids Processing Services shall commence on November 1, 2020 and continue for a 2-year term, expiring on October 31, 2022. The Contract awarded as a result of this RFP will also have an option to extend the contract for two further one-year periods, subject to agreement between the parties on pricing and terms. Full details on the services required, and how to submit a proposal are contained in the attached RFP document.
