Summary: Through this Request for Proposals, the Regional District of Central Okanagan invites Proposals for the supply of residential waste carts plus ancillary services. The intent of this RFP is to enter into ‘Standing offer Arrangements’ with supplier to supply the following 3 ‘Lots’ of carts:
Resulting from this RFP, Respondents will be ‘ranked’ as 1st or 2nd-ranked Standing Offer Suppliers for each Lot. The Regional District will attempt to place orders with the 1st-ranked Standing Offer Supplier for each Lot first. Should the 1st-ranked Supplier not be able to meet promised Delivery Lead Times, then the Regional District shall order from the 2nd-ranked Supplier for the Lot. Standing Offer Agreements will cover the Regional District’s waste cart requirements across 3 calendar years, with contract terms commencing on March 1, 2023 and expiring on December 31, 2025.
