SUMMARY:
 
Each year from Spring to Fall, the Regional District embarks on a program of cleaning and flushing for sanitary sewer mains and lift stations in the Regional District’s water and sewer system network. In addition, throughout the entire year, the Regional District may require emergency services to flush or clear sewer mains and/or lift stations.
 
Through this Request for Proposals, the Regional District seeks the services of a Contractor to perform the following services, if, as and when required, in support of this program throughout the Regional District of Central Okanagan geographical area (includes Westbank First Nation, District of Peachland, City of West Kelowna, RDCO Electoral Areas West and East):
  • Sanitary Main Flushing with a vacuum / jet rod truck
  • Lift Station Cleaning
 
In addition, the following extra services may be required:
  • CCTV inspection
  • Emergency water and sanitary service repair work (requires 24 hours a day, 7 days a week availability)
  • Environmental clean-up
  • Hydro-excavating
  • Tank Channel Cleaning
