SUMMARY:

Through this Request for Proposals, the Regional District of Central Okanagan (the “District”) invites Proposals for the provision of park maintenance and associated services (the “Services”) at the following community park locations (the “Service Locations”) located in the North Westside area of the Regional District of Central Okanagan West Electoral Area.

• Fintry Beach Access #1 (Boat Launch), end of Fintry Delta Road, Electoral Area West, Central Okanagan, BC;
• Fintry Beach Access #2, end of Morden Rd (between 343 and 337 Shorts Rd), Electoral Area West, Central Okanagan, BC;
• Killiney Beach, 9335 Hodges Road, Electoral Area West, Central Okanagan, BC; and
• Westshore Estates Community Park, 10777 Westshore Road, Electoral Area West, Central Okanagan, BC.

Note: Respondents must submit Proposals based on provision of Services for all Services Locations under one contract.  The District will contract with one Contractor for all Services Locations combined.

The Term of the proposed Contract for the Services shall be two years (commencing on March 1, 2024 and expiring on February 28, 2026).  This Contract term will see the Contractor provide the Services across two ‘Growing Seasons’ (2024 and 2025).  The Contract Term may be extended by three further years, covering the 2026, 2027, and 2028 growing seasons, at the sole discretion of the District and subject to mutual agreement between the parties on pricing and terms.  Should all extension options be exercised, this would result in a total contract length of 5 years.
