Description:  The project is centrally located within Mission Creek Regional Park located at 2363 Springfield Rd,
Kelowna, BC, V1X 7N7. The limit of construction starts at the Western park entry off of Springfield
Road and extends just East of the existing park playground. The goal of the project is to improve the
usability of the park for all members of the public, regardless of age or mobility levels.
The Work includes:
• improving access from Springfield Road,
• widening and resurface existing circulation pathways,
• rectifying current drainage issues along the existing pathways,
• adding safe pedestrian crossing within the parking lot,
• adding more accessible picnic tables, and
• installing a new accessible pathway around the playground.
